CEPMC Members are "umbrella" organisations, one per European country, which themselves represent national sectorial organisations.
For example, SFIC, the French Cement Association, along with many other French construction materials and building products associations, belongs to AIMCC (the French Construction Products Association) which is CEPMC's French member. SFIC also belongs to CEMBUREAU (The European Cement Association) representing the European cement industry. CEMBUREAU and other similar European sectorial organisations within the construction materials and building products field are, or also have the opportunity of becoming Associate Members of CEPMC.
The President of CEPMC is a senior manager elected for a two-year term. He chairs the Executive Board and the General Assembly. The Executive Board is made up of Members' representatives and meets three times a year. The General Assembly consists of Members with voting rights and Associate Members, attending in a non-voting advisory capacity; it meets at least once a year.
Associate Members may also attend any of CEPMC's Working Groups (see Activities) which meet on average three times a year. They also receive copies of all information and documentation relating to the issues covered by the Working Groups.
