CEPMC follows raw materials issues common to all mineral-based construction materials such as cement, lime, aggregates, natural stone and rock, ceramics and gypsum. These include the management of minerals, e.g. land use programmes, environmental impact assessment, conservation policies, landscape and habitat protection, mine and quarry restoration, water legislation and eco-taxes on minerals. CEPMC is represented at the tripartite meetings of the Raw Materials Supply Group convened by the European Commission. CEPMC also contributes to the work of the Non-Energy Extractive Industries Panel (NEEIP).
